think you just won the long jump competition bro!

Really glad it survived 😍, to me the front of the carbon body is the wrong shape, the air pressure differential isn't enough between the air over the top and bottom. The rounded shape is ok but it's creating a bow wave and at a certain speed it's greater over the body than under the car, hence the flip.
I would keep the rounded shape but wedge the front almost to a point, almost like a channel, keep the wheel wells high over the wheels but scoop the front end to a low point on the front. It should create a high pressure on the top of the body effectively creating downforce at the front, it's not a wing but should increase pressure differential between the top and bottom of the car 👍🙂

  3. da modda says:

That spade front splitter is to long and body it’s giving the air pressure in the front leverage to lift it

  4. Aaron Soto says:

I had a bad feeling about that bubbly carbon fiber body . damn………talk about an expensive crash geezus.

  5. konkelkent says:

Never knew RC cars went up to these insane speeds, They sure are more fun in Adult mode. not like the ones you used to have as a kid, not even the Ethanol ones. they barely got up to like 30-50mph

  6. Stephen Stoufer says:

I have 2 sets of your perfect past Drive shafts . Are you going to make carbon fiber outdrives ? I have the scorched rc titanium outdrives now but I would like carbon fiber . I would also like to get a rear drive shaft for a kraton dragster that I built .

  7. Soul Less says:

The carbon fiber body is just too much air brake

  8. Nathaniel Chambers says:

some bro science here, looks like the carbon fibre body turns into a parachute the instant the front raises up a little, maybe some slits..vents or something else to let the air escape may help, might end up with a little more downforce too.

Got my subscription! I am impressed by the speed and the driving, but what really dropped my jaw was the build…how did you get 4 motors and 4 ESCs to look that clean?!
I'm rooting for the record–keep sending it!

  10. RC SMITH says:

That was awesome 🙂🤯. I mean that just sucks 😕. 😉👍

  11. T Lee says:

    Wow ,,, crazy fast.

  12. Jack Lawson says:

What is a good speed run body for a Felony?

  13. Dean McMillan says:

You'd probably get another 3 mph if you got rid of those ugly split pins sticking out in the airflow… Surely you can have a system that eliminates them? Take a look at the dynamic soaring rc gliders or German spleedcup electric rc planes to see how they work very hard to avoid stuff hanging out in the breeze. Every little bit counts!

  14. VIPER says:

I wouldn't run that body again

  15. the planet says:

    Is the dimona

Need to hook up vr so you can see where your going lol

  18. Christopher Medaris says:

Hope u went back and picked up that trash if ppl are leaving there broken parts all over u make us all look bad

  19. Mantra Chhaya says:

Okay…. Now make a porsche 911 gt3 rs (2022) outer body and race with the real one.. im sure this rc is gonna smoke the real one…….

  20. ROBERT GAGNON says:

How do you even see it dang

  21. Jesus Nieto says:

159mph crash and somewhat minimal damage pretty insane

  22. Tim Hallas says:

    The tape caused that flip.

  23. Daniel Murphy says:

If that flipped earlier and struck one of you it would have probably killed ya.. that’s actually scary fast

  24. PaulB says:

you need some holes in it, to allow the air through. I would make to airflow ducks to allow it to flow through the body.

  25. Src k says:

There's no way you had GPS under that carbon fiber shell 😀

  26. Peter Schmald says:

    He.Super.Kann ja fliegen. Top.😆😆😆

  27. beyondwhatisknown says:

You need fold out wings on that thing that pop out when it goes airborn and glide it back down to the ground.

  28. Phat Vlog says:

    wow max speed

    WHY ??????????

That was that ugly thing you call a body.thats not a body thats a frisbee

  32. Kay Cee says:

Why not keep the Lucky body that hit 198 feom your friend.i think it wouldn't have gone air Born

  33. Johan Hägerström says:

Looks like someone needs to make technical read up on the Mercedes crash at Le Mans in 1999 😁

  34. killmore75 says:

That crash was intended! Putting tape in the front lol! : )

  35. Tahir Usman says:

It’s that silly front splitter that caused it to get airborne……it’s fasttt tho!

  36. mega truck says:

I went faster with a old 1200mah nicd in my tamiya grasshopper

  37. Simon Clarkson says:

Too much nose caused the lift. Make it look like a human nose. It sounds stupid, but it will work.

  38. Stockton WhiteBoy says:

Looks like some downforce is necessary in the front do to the lengthened nose catching so much draft under neath at the time of extreme acceleration. Something needs to push that nose down gently at that speed

  39. Robert Reynolds says:

Hmmm I'd say that was very interesting

  40. Shiheeb says:

What tires are you using? Assuming they're 3.9", that foam is experiencing over 66Gs at full speed. I've been thinking a lot about building carbon fiber speed run wheels, but I need to chat with a materials engineer about what to use for tires. There's no way that plastic isn't expanding on the inside edge giving you a smaller contact surface… unless you're truing them at 17k RPM!
