Love the buget build I think your on to something now. I really like the look of this truggy I think its one of ad racing better looking rigs for sure. Thanks for sharing tomley😊

  2. That’s awesome dude….. really impressed linear power is mental..👍👍👍👍🥇

  3. Family Man says:

Gear mesh sounds little to tight. Get what you pay for. How long did it hold up on 6s? Few runs?

  4. Try running two 6s packs on parallel, it would be a perfect power house for that motor size. I have built a racing truggy with the same motor, 22t. penion , hobbywing 150amp ecs, 150mm racing truggy wheels and it hits 80mph on dirt with two 6s packs in parallel.

  5. Bigger belted Tires, Then you go over instead of through the Grass ( Less resistance ) .

Nice video! Tempted to get the roller now! XD

  7. gsxrfreak666 says:

I wired the original wheels with real strong nylon wires took me 5 hours 20 times round each tyre and made 570 holes but there belted and i use a 40 tooth habao spurgear on the diff easy 80 to 90 on the grass and i only spend 250 euro total i drive it with an150A esc and a 2200kv 1/5 scale motor crazy flipping machine when in full throttle

I burned that motor up first time out first test run I think the motors are a little messed up or something ☹️😁👍🏼

So, what do you think about this versus an Arrma Typhon 3S for the same price?

  11. fran says:

    Bigger tires it looks funny🤣

  12. How many kv is the motor?

  13. Mauzyrock RC says:

disregard question on pt 2 🙂

  14. What do you think about the tires?

  15. NO says:

I heard others their surpass hobby 150a esc burnt on 6s. Maybe their kv motor is above the limit of esc?

I'm thinking putting a 6s on my 2845 2600kv motor. The motor limit on surpass hobby 150a esc states 2500kv on 42** size motor. Do you think the esc can handle the extra hundreds of kv on a little 2845 motor? I'm on a wild project ideas right now haha.

How the diffs and cups in hubs are afte so much torque??

  17. wordreet says:

60 on grass is respectable! Theoretically it would go faster with the bigger original wheels/tires, but maybe would get some ballooning and instability. Gonna watch that vid now!

  18. Adey Yemm says:

hi tomley . would that set up be ok in my 1/8 monster truck . it was a nitro, Hobao Ofna Monster Truck, but not got a clue about motors . i got a 150 amp esc like yours and will be get some 3s/ 6s batters .

  19. jay sciandra says:

I just ordered mine. I went with the Race star 4076 2250kv motor. Do you know if I can run 6s or should I have went with the 1700 kv motor instead? Great videos though. I really enjoyed watching.

  20. JuKeBoYak91 says:

Did this come with a fixed motor mount or did you have to get a new motor mount that's adjustable?

  21. wen you got a lot of the same stuff a label maker is a must i love mine should have got one years ago

  22. The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
