Be part of Mark and Carl as they fix up their cars completely ready for indoor racing at Leighton Buzzard Model Car Club.
They have been both much too quickly previous week so in buy to preserve racing as truthful as achievable they have opted to alter again to the the inventory Tamiya Torque Tuned Motor. This is a 25 convert brushed motor which is completely suited to the Tamiya TT01e when raced indoors.

Damn….you two spying on me or something!! This is literally me right now getting ready for my first go at an Iconic round hahahaha….my TP came in the post today, but mines going in my M03 mini. Great video gents….glad this popped up before I started cutting and soldering….ps well said about the plastic ‘sheath’ melting….had one melt on my TT01 that I race….only after taking everything out did I spot the black marks!
Keep up the wicked vids…and good luck for Iconic ✊👏👏👏

Your soldering iron would be considerably more efficient were you to keep its tip clean and tinned. 😉

  3. I’m the same as mark, can stand wires everywhere. Can’t beat a clean tidy wire install.
Think you both will notice the difference in speed now 😂. Looking forward to iconic now won’t be long! Might want to get a alloy motor mount too. Cars looking tidy though! Catch you both soon, great video as always 👏👍

Nice video guys, just a note the Hobbywing 1060 is now available with a deans/t-plug connector on as standard, Tamiya plugs belong in a time capsule.

Due to the shortage of the latest Tamiya ESC's, new kits now come with a Carson ESC here in the UK and a Hobbywing 1060 in the US. The Carson seems to be a Hobbywing 1060 or a copy of it and comes with a deans/t-plug connector as standard with a Tamiya adapter included 😀
