Great video and like the music, could you talk about gearing and motor selection, I am sure I don't get it right and could improve my lap times and avoid damaging the motor, ESC and battery.

  5. david madden says:

Hia question CAT L1 L1 EVO front alloy hub carrier is there a reason why schumacher don't make them

  6. All your videos are very helpfull. Should make Schumacher do some touring car & 1/12 scale videos as well!

  7. Paul Garwood says:

Love watching your uploads Trish, you are very calming to watch. The nature in which you present is almost therapeutic, as well as educational.
I donโ€™t race at all, but I still enjoy your work. For me I use RC car kit building as a part of my recover from a mental health injury. I am a Schumacher fan boy ๐Ÿคฃ. But do enjoy building a variety of scales, car types and even brands. But thank you for your uploads they are great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

  10. great vids mate love your thoughts on car set up , any chance you could do a vid about the top cat or C.A.T vintage tunning as many clubs race these here in australia ,thanks for any help

  11. Excellent video. Maybe a video about shock oils / spring choices. Also any electronic tips like ESC / transmitter set up would be great.

  12. Could you give me a set up on the beard?

  13. Ben Lloyd says:

Thanks Trish, every one of your videos I watch I learn something ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

  14. When discussing camber links, I feel like you are jumping around from front to back and inside and outside. It would be nice if you could say specifically which part you are discussing. Also, I notice Schumacher offers aluminum rear hubs, but the team never uses them. Why?

  15. Nice video, I also feel a bit packed the information about links … could you deep dive a bit more and talk about rear/front relationship? Great job Trish ๐Ÿ’ช

  16. Glen Downer says:

Another great video Trish. Got myself an Evo now, looking forward to the regional season. I was looking at the gearbox riser, but havenโ€™t ever seen it mentioned in most setup sheets, under what circumstances would you use it? Cheers, Glen.

  17. HI Trish, thanks for doing these videos.. they are really helpful. question for when perhaps you do part 3… ๐Ÿ™‚ I run on both clay and carpet over here in Florida and I'm lucky enough to have a L1 for both (Evo for clay & Orig L1 for Carpet). For clay/dirt the L1 Evo is just brilliant out the box and it got even better with the Flex chassis. I'm now looking to move over to the Evo for high grip carpet but notice on the setup sheets you seem to keep the Flex chassis. Why is this as I thought a stiffer chassis would be better?

Hi trish, been watching your videoโ€™s for a few months now. Got a lot of insight into how cars have changed from my last cars, cougar 2 and bosscat. Would you be doing a set up tips and tricks for the vintage cars ? Ive just got back into to the sport and decided to race vintage. As there more my cup of tea for now ๐Ÿ‘

    Hey Trish

Thanks for the videos Iโ€™m new to the hobby and have been working my way through all of your uploads to help me get a greater understanding of the cars, Iโ€™ve only been to 3 practice days at my local Astro track and Iโ€™m completely hooked. I have a question or suggestion for a new video

Last weekend I was doing a lot better after changing a few things but then we had a downpour of rain and when I went back out for my first wet experience I could barely make it round the track ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ the car was almost undriveable so I was wondering if there was a few must doโ€™s when you change from a dry to wet track.. Car or Electrics ???

I drive a 2wd and I had changed from yellow to silver compound

    Thanks Andy

Great video, so much good information here. All I need now is Schumacher to produce boxes and boxes of Mini Trish so that I can take one with me every time I race to set my car up ๐Ÿ˜‰

  21. alan morgan says:

I currently run the l1. Have Schumacher considered a shaft drive buggy?

  22. these are great, i wish other companies would go through the car, not only what it does but why its being done. thanks Trish.

  23. J Dub says:

Very informative and helpful videos. When using the gearbox riser and running the pin high setup on the rear, I'm assuming it is still necessary to use the spacer plate at the front of the pivot to maintain the correct antisquat? That being said, do you use longer screws to fasten the pivot and the gearbox to the chassis due to the extra thickness of the spacers? Thank you.
