Could you make a video about what should be done before driving for the first time? I have a 1:10 scale nitro rc but it is not fully built and while watching your videos you look to know a lot. I have never driven a Nitro Rc and I don’t want to put so much work and find out I did something wrong at the beginning.
Hey Johnny. Little off topic here but I’ll go ahead anyway. I’m building a RC jet boat using the TFL jet drive B54270 its a 39mm dia impeller. I want to power it with a mini model engine. I’m looking at the NR200 do you think it would have enough torque to adequately drive the jet drive ? Should I go with a Cison L4-175 ? It came with a 4074 1400kv motor. The hull is going to be a 24” long aluminum river jet boat style.

the teflon part has a conical shape but the metal part does not, or at least not the same angle, and the contact surface is too small which equals to more heat, more wear and possibly less grip.
What about making both the teflon part and the metal part both conical and with the same angle?

Would you be able to make an RC crawler wheel for demonstration purposes in a 2.2 scale size or 1.9 scale size with a pocket nc, I have been wanting to buy a pocket nc but would like see if it can be done first before spending the money on a machine like that. That would be the only purpose for buying one to make wheels for hobby grade RC cars to be able to make custom wheel for my RC cars and trucks. Thank you.

I think it might be beneficial to preload the clutch in the engaged position with some internal springs and then only releasing it. I think the bushing will wear out very quickly

If there is anyone that can make one of those blower small block Chevy motors work in an RC car, it’s you. I think you should do one if you can afford it. I’m not sure what scale those motors are. Maybe 1/3? They rev fast af! And actually make good power and TQ
