Hi Mark , good info. Do you adjust any settings on the esc ? If you do what settings do you recommend tuning? I am using tekin gen 3.

  2. Craig Jones says:

Good I deal sometimes I mess with the punch setting in the ESC. They normally go from 1-10. I run mine about 4 for lose dirt. Then when they wet the track and I got 100% traction. I will turn the punch up to 7-8. It will change the power ban

  3. throttle curve as a linear setting is worthless on any good traction. (2wd) unless your booger hook is well trained lol.  but the steering I feel is best as linear. same speed with same movement. I don't want to crank the wheel and its slow at first then suddenly speeds up. (I tune a lot of PID's on yokigawas) the rate changes if its not linear.

Didn't see ya at the Nats….

  5. Brett Ludwig says:

I race oval mainly concrete some hard packed clay or loose dirt. And the very first thing we adjust is the steering I guess speed/sensitivity. Since we run oval I have my car set to turn faster to the left than it does to the right. Some of the 13.5 guys use boost on their esc but I think that it hurts them because then when the punch the throttle when coming out of the corner they wheelie. And on a small un-banked concrete oval the most contact patch from the tire to the ground the better. Our local track has a Channel called “Oval Rc” on YouTube – (obviously)

  6. Hey man are you gonna have the set ups coming soon? I have a couple of my own and tebos and another from a club racer friend but was wanting to see were yours was at

    Guys:

"EXPONENTIAL"- (CURVE) SMOOTHS OUT QUICK , ERRATIC BEHAVIOR OF A SERVO.

"ENDPOINT" – LIMITS HOW FAR THE SERVO WILL THROW.

LESS ENDPOINT PERCENTAGE WILL DECREASE TURNING RADIUS OR BRAKE APPLICATION.
