Very nicely done project. I think that pattern looks great especially after the closeup outside. The tips on the shadowing and blacking out the under side I wouldnโt have thought of.

How do you calculate how much film to use especially on something with so man angles?

I saw someone hydro dip a clear plastic R/C car body, I was led to believe it had to have a base paint first in order for it to stick?
Can I use liquid mask or tape on the outside of the body on the areas I donโt want the carbon fiber print on, like the windows, headlights etc.,?
Could you please tell me the name of the film you use and what activator brand did you spray on top of the water please , thanks. Also is there an amount of time you let the film set in the water before dipping in the car body. Sorry for all the questions but your technique out of all the ones I've seen here on YouTube turned out the best. Their were no bubbles in it when you pulled the car out and it wasn't overlapped or anything. Turned out excellent in my opinion. Thank you for your time.
