Great video , I wonder if changing up the boards would allow for different types of jumps , maybe a barrel roll ?

  2. you just did a face reveal :]

  3. Really nice job man,

  4. ipodguy55 says:

like all ramp building videos I've seen, there's one mistake everyone makes, and that is not making a transition piece from the ground to the ramp. this allows for much longer and smoother jumps.

  5. Awesome love this.

  6. OWCFC says:

Omg thank you so much I need this so bad for my ford raptor 2017 by traxxas. I REALY think you should get a traxxas slash.

  7. CASH_ces7899 says:

Great. But I think one chain would suffice for the width of that ramp. 4' width I would use 2.

  8. fierodough says:

Nice setup! I would of put the eyelets on the sides (edge) of the boards and run the chain on the side also. this would allow your jump to fold flat.

  9. I used a grinder to cut off ends

  10. Wow…. I was just about to buy a $125 ramp…. THIS WILL SAVE ME MONEY!! Thanks so much for posting. I think I will get a 2×4 board instead of 2×2 that was I won't have to stand right behind it to get on it. It seems to be a little difficult to hit the 2×2 board. I have the slash ultimate and being so big I think I will get the wider board. Anyways, thanks for posting!! The rain in the end made me happy haha in Nevada its been a really dry winter 🙁

    God Bless

  11. Why not using a long board and a shorter one? So you can get 2 jumping angles on one setup.

  12. Ben says:

Perfect follow up to the jump mechanics video, much needed info for beginners like myself! Thanks man!

  13. Landon symes says:

This video should be named how to bend rc truck shocks

Thanks Buddy.. Built this and it works so great and didnt take long to build.. I did put the Screw Eyes on one of the side of the ramp so it can fold completely flat as another commenter suggested. Right now just using twine through those screw eyes but thinking of putting a a third anchor point then just adjusting the length i want and tying to the third anchor point.

Needless to say when my 4y year old son and 7 year old nephew saw those cars flying in the air they couldnt get enough!

  15. phil kennedy says:

I made mine just like yours but used plywood with a 2×1 frame screw the plywood to the frame but overlap the frame 20mm at bottom that gets rid of ridge, hinges at top joint, then put your chains at the side easier to keep adjusting 🙂 and I made my ramp 4’ wide

  16. It's simple, Just go to woodprix page – and enter the Wood World.

  17. Driftomaniacs Nice simple build! I am going to build one Today ! Thank You Sir!

  18. Jan says:

I love the design and that it will fold up for transport. Thanks for all of the refinement of the design. I will offset the eyelets and add a latch to lock it when folded. Thanks for sharing the idea.

  19. Wow that's the worst ramp I have ever seen an man u need some practice driving an rc car

  20. It's good! but it does not folded completely. How about chain location move to side?

  22. Great info. I was looking at ramps and the cheapest one is like $30+ for a damn piece of plastic. I'll do this instead. Thanks! I'm going to need something bigger though because I have a Kraton 6s and an Xmaxx 8s coming soon 😂

  23. John global says:

Awsome , should have figured you would have this topic covered!! Having a blast with my xmaxx. Now going to start to get jumping going, and upgrades next. So this will deff help me out. Thanks again from across the pond in New York

  30. Imagine being a youtuber who aims to help people in the community who throws a fit and insults people anytime they share advice on his videos… pretty pathetic if you ask me. No they shouldnt "go make their own videos if theyre so smart" theyre here informing people of ways to improve upon a design… WHQT COMMENTS ARE FOR… dont like it? Stop making videos

  31. roadstar499 says:

  32. Vee Tek says:

ver cool idea. think something like this but with a carabiner on one end of the chain that can be used w/ all the different lengths of chain?

  33. Funcentric says:

That's hillarious! It actually works! Nice Love how it's so portable.

  34. Leon Kite says:

I want one for my petrol rc car

  35. Ralf Neels says:

Nice design, simple, portable, multiple angles. And you can store it with minimal volume. Perfect. I am going to build this tomorrow!
