HBX (Haiboxing) 1/10th Scale RC Cars Velocity Examination Comparison!

It dawned on me that many most likely do not know about the aged 1/10th Scale rc car products from HBX (Haiboxing), as the lesser scale HBX versions appears to be to dominate the market and manufacturer at present. It also dawned on me that I have never pace tested the 1/10 models I have in my selection. Undoubtedly not the cleanest and not the swiftest, but here they are. Hope you appreciate!

The two buggies, the HBX Rocket Buggy 1/10 4WD and the HBX Quakewave 1/10 2WD (re-branded in the States as the Redcat Twister), are fairly expensive to me for nostalgic causes, as they where my initial 1/10 hobby-grade buggies when I acquired back again to the pastime. The Quakewave was offered way again then, so here is a re-debut of a new 2nd hand device I got my fingers on lately. Glad to have it back again now. I keep in mind it appeared quite rapid back then … but not so significantly now. May well have to throw a new motor in it.

Not too certain what I believe about the two trucks, the HBX Volcano XP4 1/10 2WD and the HBX Stealth X09 1/10 4WD. The two where acquired 2nd hand a short while ago for some much too tempting rates. I have not been running the Volcano a lot, largely mainly because I have quite a few Tamiya Monster Vans with the exact speed and gearing (sluggish) that appear to do that work fine. The Stealth X09 is the 2nd unit I have tried using of that design. The two instances it has seemed a minor little bit too large and fragile for my flavor with all that aluminium, and I am definitely not a lover of appears to be like of the entire body. So since I have some applied spare areas lying all over for my Rocket Buggy I will be converting it to a lighter truck and see if it receives extra operate time like that.

How come my HBX Quake-Wave 2wd does better with a 4200 mah nimh battery (Also with an non-brushed motor) than one with a lipo battery generally because they are quite powerful batteries?

  2. aww man, where's the product link?! 😫 hahaha. Also, why do the older models always look better built?

  3. Hi Mikael. Well the buggies were quite fast for stock, but the stadium truck could definitely do with a motor and ESC to get any kind of decent speed hehe. Great stuff my friend all the best.

  4. Does anybody have an 3s brushless system they don't need my 2wd slash died and I can't afford the upgrade.

Why do you want to change it to a plastic conversion?

Can you tell me how much all of these are in US dollars at least none of them are gone below 20 miles an hour which I always say a 20 mph should always be a starting point for any hobby car.

  7. Brad Kalman says:

How much is it and what is the motor on it?

Hey buddy, awesome video bro!! 💯 …. Is it safe to say that HAIBOXING, HBX , are the same as RedCat products?? I have a RedCat Tornado Epx pro, which HBX model would that similar to Mr Nordic?? Love your channel!!! 👍

  13. Nice one, Mikael! You made me laugh trying to run the Stealth without a motor! Love the way you threw the body down in disgust! Looks like a nice little winter project. Take care, mate! 🙂
