I once did an escape room that used a toycar like that for one puzzle. It was all close to eachothers, so distance wasn't a problem. For use like that it would be somewhat perfect (cost vice)

I'm getting something similar from banggood it's a 1/16 pickup truck, less than 30 quid! So hopefully use it to better film my hg military trucks and even upload my first ever video to YouTube….

It is a huge disappointment. I know it is cheap and there are lot of feature.
Have you played with the little Emax fpv racer? It's a lot of fun, relatively cheap, and works way better. I still pull mine out occasionally (that sounds questionable).

WiFi fpv drones and cameras are stupid cheap mostly because they aren't very good at a real time live wireless feed and short range
