How do you know if the voltage of the lipo is getting to low? Or the ESC knows and stop on 3.5v or so?
I love mineโฆ but the controller is faulty and it wonโt drive straight lolโฆ the servo twitches Becuase the steering wheel is loose or somethingโฆ witch is weird Iโd thought the servo was faulty

I bought lipo lock from raceway quads it holds my 4s battery's one my 5inch quads without strap its 4bucks will keep battery in there
The car is for SPEED RUNS but best at hard sand surface
Great video and you do compare it with the 144001. It did take a bashing and that is what people may like out of the box RTR. I got one. Far out you smashed it around off the ramp. I just got into RC cars. I'm not seeing much info on how to keep up the maintenance. I would like to find a forum for RC advice. Great videos thank you TheRCSaylors. I like your honesty. Nice video, thanks. Considering getting the new brushless version, just wondering if all the tires and wheels are compatible cause I seen some street tires for the 1 14 scale and wondering if they would for this cause I mainly drive on the street

Literally just got mine in the mail today. Took it out for a short spin in my yard and down the street. Its pretty darn impressive! I also own a Traxxas Slash 4×4 and must say this is equally as fun! (P.S traxxas slash tires bolt right onto this WPL car but needs a little trimming on the chassis for front tires to clear at full turn)
I asked for this for my birthday after watching this video. This is my first r/c since the 80s and the kid in me is loving it! I do find it runs quite warm but I have nothing to compare it to so that may be normal. I have been eyeing up brushless components to upgrade it but may just pick up a 124017 down the road.
Just love wltoys buggies, they are just awesome RC's. I'm lucky enough to have two 144001s and I run them every chance I can. I'll be adding more to my colection soon. Great video, thanks for sharing. John
I had said that I would never purchase another wltoys rc car due to how poorly they were designed & replacement parts were a bit of a pain to get. But this buggy looks like it may have some potential. This just may be worth a fun budget custom brushless conversion build project just for ๐ฉ & giggles. Just worried about the diffs, not sure if they'll handle the power (they're zinc alloy). That was an issue I ran into with the 12423 model I had & upgraded to a brushless system.
I got mine I have mine maybe a month if you're going to $51 from mine so I got the upgraded version of batteries
