   Not to assist with any lawbreaking… but… during a downhill bike race though the dense slums in Brazil, a team was able to chase the riders with quads by using a DJI drone to carry a signal repeater. The DJI drone would basically hang up in the sky, about 500 feet up or so, rebroadcasting the video from the FPV drone actually doing the chasing and maintaining the control link. This allowed the team to keep a strong radio link in complex urban environments.

   You could have somebody with a DJI drone, attached repeater, high up in the air, providing a stable link to your car for at least 5 miles. Also, considering the low profile of the car, seems like you could have just turned around and driven UNDER the police car to go back the way you came. It's strange it didn't occur to the cops to just run the thing over. It's like a bug compared to their squad car.
