How fun is it really? I have a Wltoys 124017 and with 3s it goes like 50 mph but it’s not too fun anymore especially with some coughing and stuff. This one is considerably slower so can it still be more fun? Or not
I bought my youngest daughter the HBX Rapture a few months back, it's the brushless version with full metal running gear, and it is simply awesome!! For its pricing and quality – bigger brand names should take note. As for mods all I've done is change the shock oil and also cleaned and added diff oils (5k to each), it's a crackin little RC! I just hope she doesn't twig how to raise the throttle limit on the Tx.. I've been searching for batteries of the same size as standard for it though, seems to be limited to a certain small-sized 2S. The two I've bought as extra batteries are a tad too big for the tray.
Love my ravage. I like these 1/16 scales a bit more than my rival mt10 at the skatepark, they are less intimidating to drive and more playful feeling on ramps. Lots of fun. Not the greatest outdoors on rough terrain or grass though.

No one yet seems to have found the Flyhal FC600 which is essentially the same as the HBX Pro but with a different body at about £20 cheaper!

I have the original hbx 16889 and it’s a beast a few little screws finally got messed up after a good year and a half of solid play running through dirt and jumps and no maintenance at all
