Hi, I picked up an old 3-band 27Mhz RC car t(a very cool, HUGE Ford GT, almost 2 feet long!) that takes a 9.6V NiCd battery pack. It didn't come with a remote, so I bought a few 27Mhz remotes, even some with 3 or 4 bands, but none of them would operate the car (which I think is weird because there are only 6 bands in the 27Mhz range, so I figured at least ONE of the remotes would work). So I assume that to get this working, I must buy a new transmitter/receiver kit. My confusion is, the kits I see (for example, the AUSTAR AX6S 4CH 2.4Ghz) are all either 6V or 12V, but I don't see any 9.6V kits? What am I missing here? How does a 6 or 12v receiver work off a 9.6v battery? Thanks for any info.. (PS: Is it difficult to swap out the original receiver for a new one?)

I don't think I need to cover the wheel vent holes cuz they don't have any foam in them when I opened them up and when I covered them up the water stayed in there cuz it got through beedlock (idk if i spelled correctly) and couldn't come out

  22. CAT Matiskam says:

2:40 after putting tap on the holes. Put 2 holes on the sides. (Inside). It balance the air pressure when racing or doing jumpes. Also good when the tire is not belted (ballooning)
